Josephine Lee to be inducted into Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame
Congratulations to PIBC member Josephine Lee who will honoured for her lawn bowling achievements at a banquet on April 10.
PAY PARKING UPDATE
The pay parking is expected to come into effect in February.
The PIBC Board and VPG are seeking clarification from the City of Vancouver. Together we are advocating for the 3 hours free parking that community centre patrons and their partner associations get. Members will be informed of any further updates.
Based on member feedback, we have made some changes to the schedule for the Winter Session starting Jan 1st. For example:

Leagues, draws, and most practice sessions will run 2hrs 15 mins.

Afternoon leagues, draws, and practices will now start at 12:30pm
-
There will be a 15 min buffer between the end of one session and the beginning of the next which we hope will ease some of the transition challenges
