2024 BC Provincial Men's Indoor Singles
Alan Wass Wins Men's Singles Gold Medal
David Lewis, Silver and Jim Duholke, Bronze.
2024 World Bowls Indoor Bronze Winners
Linda Ng won the bronze medal in the women's singles. She lost in the semi-finals to Malaysia's Nor Farrah Ain Abdullah who went on to win the Gold medal.
Linda Ng and Mike McNorton also won the bronze medal in the mixed pairs at the World Bowls Indoor Championships in Guernsey, England. Australia's mixed pairs team of Samantha Atkinson and Ray Pearse were the gold medal winners. The English team that defeated our Canadians won the silver.
So Canada is coming home with 2 bronze medals, which is a wonderful achievement given the strength of the field. Congratulations!
Gillian Poon Wins 2024 BC Provincial Women's Indoor Singles
APRIL 19-21: After three days of exciting competition, Gillian Poon defeated Rainbow Lung to win the BC Provincial Women's Indoor Singles.
PIBC 2024 Mixed Triples
April 13/14: The team of Simon Leung, Shirley Choy and Sunny Cheung won the 2024 PIBC 2-bowl Mixed Triples, defeating Paul Choi, Lorraine Choi and James Chen in the final.
Jim Duholke and Linda Ng Win 2024 PIBC Mixed Pairs
April 6-7 2024: After two days of competition and a nailbiting finale that went to an extra end, Jim Duholke and Linda Ng were victorious at the 2024 Mixed pairs.
